Utah Business Hall of Fame

It was an honor to induct Crystal Maggelet into our annual Utah Business Hall of Fame and to celebrate her tremendous contributions to students and teachers through Junior Achievement, to women, and so many other facets of life in Utah. Crystal was joined by laureates Ron Jibson, Charles Dahlquist, Keith McMullin, Scott Anderson, and Gail Miller, who served as our honorary chairperson. This year’s event was sponsored by Delta Air Lines. Guests were entertained by a string quartet of musicians from the Utah Youth Orchestra, a vocal performance, and two speeches about the impact of Junior Achievement on their lives.

Laureates demonstrate business excellence, courageous thinking, and acting, inspired leadership, and community-mindedness. These icons of business are exemplary role models for future generations.

We would like to thank Delta, our title sponsor, for their unwavering dedication and support.

The Hall of Fame inductee for 2024 will be announced soon!

Governor’s Breakfast

We celebrated a wonderful Governor’s Breakfast in May. Thank you to Fidelity for sponsoring and to Governor Spencer Cox and First Lady Abby Palmer Cox for supporting Utah students and educators through JA programs. JA of Utah also awarded Lisa Eccles with the Utah Philanthropic Legacy Award, and we thank her for her tremendous contributions to our state.

During the Governor’s Breakfast, guests had the opportunity to view the new storefronts and kiosks for the Larry H. Miller Company, Great Clips, and Salt Lake Community College.

We look forward to supporting students through our upcoming Governor’s Breakfast on May 29th, 2024!
